Are all kitchen doors the same size?

Not always, many manufacturers do sell units which fit doors of ‘standard’ sizes, but some do vary. Also, elements of your kitchen could have been tweaked or changed over time meaning standard doors would no longer fit. The best way to know for sure is to have your kitchen cabinets measured by professionals (like the Kitchen Magic team!)

Are your replacement kitchen doors durable?

Can I fit the cupboard doors and drawer fronts myself?

All of our fitters are professional craftsmen with a great deal of training in fitting our products, which are made bespoke to fit your existing kitchen units. Whilst you may feel that installing the kitchen yourself will save time and money, over 40 years of experience has shown us that this task is often best left to the professionals. This also provides you with a guarantee on workmanship, and the knowledge that the finished product will be exactly what you hoped for.

Can I get a kitchen made in a custom colour?

Can I get a single replacement door from you if there is a problem in the future?

Yes, we offer a full 12 month guarantee from the date of installation, so that in the rare instance a problem occurs, we can replace the doors for you immediately.

Can you just replace the kitchen cupboard doors?

Yes, if the rest of your kitchen is still in great condition and you don’t want a full kitchen makeover, we can replace just the cupboard doors to refresh your kitchen.

Can you manufacture vinyl wrapped kitchen doors?

Can you supply solid wood and granite worktops?

Yes, we can! If your budget can stretch to it, granite and solid wood worktops are a classic choice but do require ongoing treatments and maintenance. If you’re looking for something more user and budget friendly, laminate worktops are a fantastic option.

Do I have to pay for my new kitchen in one instalment?

Due to the fact that all goods are made bespoke and unique to your kitchen, we ask for a 50% deposit upon placing the order. The remaining 50% will then be required when the kitchen has been installed to your satisfaction.

Do I need to empty my cupboards for the installation?

Whilst it is not essential to empty your cupboards before an installation, this is preferable for a number of reasons. Firstly, our fitters will require clear access to all hinges, so if your cupboards are very full, items may need to be moved. Depending on the work being carried out, kitchen installations can also involve an amount of dust, meaning that it may be best to remove the contents of your cupboards to save you having to clean them afterwards. In addition, many customers simply find this a great opportunity for a ‘Spring Clean’, to get rid of those forgotten jars and tins and revive your cupboard space.

As long as the structure of your existing kitchen is sound, it’s more than likely that your kitchen is make-over ready, regardless of its age, style, or the original manufacturer. We also offer a free, no-obligation survey and quotation service, whereby our expert designers will be able to inspect your kitchen units to confirm their suitability.

We have regionally-based designers, so we are usually able to get a designer to visit you at your home and provide a quote within approximately 5-7days. Once your kitchen has been precisely measured by our expert surveyors – a task which is usually carried out a few days following the placement of your order - your goods will be tailor-made in our own factory in Birmingham. Due to the fact that we manufacture in house, we are able to offer uniquely short lead times. Our experienced craftsmen will then install your new kitchen with the greatest care and attention to detail. Depending on the size of the kitchen and extent of the makeover, this can be done in as little as a day. Overall, the whole process from start to finish can be as little as 3 weeks.

The beauty of a kitchen makeover as opposed to a total refit is that it can be completed in as a little as a day. This means no turning your home into a building site, and no living off microwave meals and takeaways for a month! If your kitchen is larger or requires more work, we may need an extra day or so with you in order to complete your refurbishment to the highest possible standard.

In addition to replacing your doors, drawer fronts and worktops, we can also add additional units and features if required. Many customers want to make better use of their existing space by adding corner units, plate racks, islands and many more alternatives. Our designers are more than happy to help you with minor adjustments to the layout of your kitchen, or simply to advise you as to how you can make the most of the space you have. We also offer a range of handy kitchen storage solutions which can be fitted into your existing units to help organise your space.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide single doors that are not part of a full refurbishment. As all our products are hand made to order, we do not keep any stock items, therefore it is simply uneconomical for us to operate our machinery to manufacture one or two single doors.

As well as changing the doors and drawer fronts, we can also supply all the accessories to match the doors of your choice; including end panels (any sides of the units that are on display), plinth (the kickboards that link the units to the floor), cornice and pelmet (the trim at the top and bottom of the wall units) and any other fillers required.
